PPS Machining Overview

PPS is a high temperature plastic. It shows good chemical resistance, high mechanical strength, good machinability, and great dimensional stability. Besides  PPS Virgin, another very common PPS plastic is PPS GF40(PPS 40% glass fiber reinforced). PPS GF40 has very high percentage glass fiber, thus makes the material stiff and easy to crack. So for machining PSS GF40, the material should be pre-heated before any process.
