POM-C, or Polyoxymethylene Copolymer, is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic known for its excellent balance of mechanical properties and processability. As a copolymer, it offers improved resistance to thermal degradation and chemical attack compared to the homopolymer version (POM-H). POM-C is characterized by its high stiffness, low friction coefficient, and outstanding dimensional stability. It maintains these properties across a wide range of temperatures and humidity levels, making it a reliable material for precision parts subjected to continuous wear.

• POM-C: This standard grade offers high mechanical strength and excellent sliding properties. It is widely used in the food processing industry (due to its resistance to cleaning agents), automotive sector for fuel system components, and general engineering for gears, bushings, and conveyor parts.

• POM ESD (Electrostatic Dissipative): For applications requiring static control, we offer POM ESD in both rods and sheets. This specialized grade is modified to provide permanent electrostatic dissipative properties, featuring a surface resistance and volume resistance of 10⁶ to 10⁹ ohms. This controlled conductivity prevents the buildup of static charges that could attract dust or damage sensitive electronics. It is essential for the semiconductor industry, cleanroom environments, and automated handling equipment where electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection is critical.
